I have had this ComproDTV 4.5.7.74 version installed since 09082015 and works beautifully except impossible to record as the outdated Ulead 8.5 needs replacing as this program will not open in either Windows 10 or Windows 7. Is there any way around this problem?
ComproDTV 4.57.740 works on Windows 10 after a fashion with help from troubleshooter compatibility. Is there any updated versions available for Windows 10?

No, there is no other updated version on the official website. In fact, this is the latest one listed on the Compro website: ComproDTV 4.5.7.74. I've installed it and it works just fine, only that you need to install the correct drivers. As I can see, the driver is WHQL which means it's Microsoft verified. Access the website listed below to download it and install it with the card attached. If Windows refuses to install it, disable Driver Enforcement: Start > Settings > Update and Recovery > Recovery > Advanced Startup > Restart > Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Press key 7 > Restart. Once you boot back, install the drivers again and accept the warning.
Reboot one more time and then the software will start normally.
I just upgraded my computer from Windows 7 to Windows 8 and my Compro DTV-4 software will only tune in Analog TV. It worked just fine on Windows 7. Any suggestions?

This software is not specially designed to run on Windows 8. However, you should probably try to run it using Compatibility Mode from Windows 8. You can do this by right click on the EXE file, go to Properties > Compatibility and choose Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows 7. This should solve your problem.

Try using the Audio Switch function you can find on the mail menu. This switches between various audio sources available and detected by ComproDTV.
